BIO
Matthijs Geerts (1993) is a highly sought-after session musician working across jazz, funk, and pop. He has performed with artists such as Yoran Vroom, Benjamin Herman, Lo van Gorp, Richard Hallebeek, and Philip Lassiter, as well as with O’GENE and The Soulful Sessions, collaborating with US-based artists.
He tours throughout the Benelux with the Matthijs Geerts Group and is a lecturer at Codarts University of the Arts Rotterdam.
in 2021, He released his debut album Lost in Reverse. Since its release on October 15th it’s been streamed 2.000.000 + times and has received airplay in multiple countries
